Perfect
Before we start, A quick question for you ... How was your day today? are you satisfied with it? Did it make you the 'Perfect of all, Perfect from all' today...
Uncanny Satisfaction
Let's talk about myself here, a 15-year-old teen living in the twenty-first century obviously has many things to complain about in life. Teenage as you know isn't easy at all just as same as how living in the early twenties isn't... I keep wondering around, forget what I am doing, Have sudden useless thoughts for which I cry this second and laugh in the very next second, Not drippin' a single tear when all the things around me get worked up but crying terribly at the ending of every K-drama I watch, Sometimes I feel like I am great in everything until then when I realize How terrible artist I am ... and the list follows.
It is said that a topper student complains about losing 0.5 marks in a really tough test and on the other side an average Asian student cries for scoring 0.5 marks less than that of the passing score limit, Neither of them is satisfied ... I mean duh, topper student must feel grateful for scoring highest again then who cares about full marks and the average one must try again better ( should be grateful that with all that class-bunking sessions he still at least made till the pass limit ). I've heard a lot in many motivational speeches " Try to be the first one succeeding always because everyone knows who the first one is no one remembers the second one " You might know who claimed mount everest first without oxygen but may not know the second one who did the same as the first one, here's the answer Reinhold Messner did so...
Creatures can never be satisfied, Not even when they reach the highest peak in the world they still will have the wish to climb and walk on clouds ( When I say creature I mean every living organism). I myself am never settled in any fact, today I crave for this new thing to buy, tomorrow I want something new ( Another teen keeping up with trend ). I see my friend buy a new device, I want it too but everything cant be just simply asked ..right ? I remember one of my family member once complimented me to be the only non-stubborn child in the whole family, Satisfied with what I have I never asked for something more and more, and as a sweet fruit I'd get what I wanted without literally throwing a fit for it , just by earning it. ( Scoring good in exams... sorta). This was when I was young and now when I talk about this being a teen this patience is like really hard I know I will get it soon , for sure... but when will this Soon arrive! Waiting and waiting I will finally get it by earning it... I can wait forever for anything now ( which I don't have to ) Just to keep up with the compliment,I can wait...
Many teens feel like they don't get what they deserve, They always want their parents to be like that one of their friend's parents ( giving literally everything). I remember once my parent said that They were not able to teach me something in the right way as in the way one of their friends's taught their child, and I said "Neither did I want to learn the lesson like how their child did, People have their own different unique ways of teaching something your way was different then their's but the lesson you taught was just the same, Afterall No parent is perfect and that is the reason why every Parent is perfect ... Every parent does the best they can for their kid in a different ways and that is what makes their child different from other" and yes we smiled ....
Satisfaction is all a matter of uncanny which gives rise to something called as Perfect. Tell me any one creature's name in the world who holds a record for being the perfect human being , A born genius from cooking to playing every small indoor and outdoor game, from knitting to the art of fencing.... And let me guess you will not find any...
In reality there is nothing called as the *perfect* in existence it's just a thought in an individual's mind to fill our so-called satisfaction, and as discussed before one has no limit to the satisfaction, satisfaction can never be filled ... We all just live in a fake mindset that we can be perfect in everything and this mindset makes us to do hard work as much as possible which puts us a step ahead of the past second.. I would say work hard thinking you will become the perfect next second, slip through failure of not being a perfect one by thinking no one is good at it and forget that past failure like you already were the perfect one but still could be better.....Make this unsatisfaction your key to work better than before.
Perfection is just a mindset of filling your forever inevitably ruling unsatisfaction.....

A very truthful rendering of today's world, with the constant chasing of perfection to the pressured limits where there seems to be no constant goal, in terms of beauty standards, educational grades, financial circumstances, status/position etc...
ReplyDeleteYou have given a very precise, to the point explanation that we must embrace our imperfections to be a 'perfect', yet unsatisfied person. Never give up, keep writing and great job!!
